Systems Analyst - IT Department
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES include the following. Others may be assigned.
Plan, design, program, implement, and document all in-house-developed applications and reporting systems using Crystal Report, MS SQL 2008 and/or Visual Basic .Net.
Perform a variety of network administration tasks in Windows Server 2008 environment including, but not limited to, administration, data security, implemention of a data backup and restore scheme, MS SQL and Exchange management, administer Internet access of selected employees, management of network user's profile with emphasis on access methodology of corporate resources, especially on the consumption of the network bandwidth.
Ensure a constant implementation of security for the network and corporate data to ward off systematic penetration attempts of viruses, worms, etc. thus avoiding and minimizing disruption of daily operations.
Repair/upgrade/install PC's as needed with operating systems Windows 7 and Windows XP.
Function as a webmaster to two corporate websites; create/deploy/maintain HTML pages, implement makeover of existing sites, as needed, using web design and graphic tools i.e., Adobe CS 5.0/5.5. Maintain a working knowledge of HTML 5/CSS3, Javascript/JQuery, XML, ASP.Net, IIS with MS SQL 2008 as backend database.
Familiar with PHP, MySQL and Drupal administration, including but not limited to add/edit content, manage navigation, manage images and user admin.
Maintain existing and/or develop future web apps using ASP.NET technology with a back-end database MS SQL 2008.
Study future application developments both local and web-base, for solutions that will provide more efficient processing for the Claim, UM, Quality and Finance Departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with an IPA (Independent Providers Association) group and working knowledge of Eligibility, Authorization and Claims processing.
- Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008 including programming and maintenance.
- Ability to perform functions of a SQL Server, Mail Server and Web Server administrator.

- Maintain confidentiality of any and all sensitive materials.
- Improve knowledge and skills with education and training opportunities.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English is required. Speaking a second language: Spanish, Vietnamese or Chinese desirable, but not required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Able to carry the weight of a desktop PC, UPS battery backup or equivalent of 50 lbs. or more.
